SolarBK ready to shape sustainable resorts at the “Clean energy in tourism development” forum

Publish date 04/09/2025

On September 5, 2025, within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2025), the forum “Clean Energy in Tourism Development” will officially take place.

Organized by Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Magazine and ITE, the event brings together representatives from the National Tourism Administration, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, leading travel companies, resort operators, and energy experts. This forum is particularly significant as the tourism industry – responsible for 8–9% of global emissions – is under urgent pressure to go green in line with Vietnam’s Net Zero 2050 commitment.

SolarBK participated as a speaker, represented by Mr. Nguyễn Duy Thịnh – Director of Investment and Development

SolarBK will join as a keynote speaker, represented by Mr. Nguyen Duy Thinh – Investment & Development Director. His presentation will revolve around the most pressing questions for resort investors:
  • How to cut energy costs from day one while also generating additional revenue from clean energy?
  • With limited rooftop space, which solution delivers the highest efficiency?
  • Why does integrating solar solutions from the design stage make such a big difference in ROI, aesthetics, and brand positioning?
Notably, SolarBK will bring real case studies from Alma Resort, Saigon Hotel, Majestic Hotel… – pioneering projects that have successfully applied solar energy solutions, delivering significant cost savings and enhancing brand value. These stories will inspire resort investors seeking practical pathways to sustainable energy.

With nearly 20 years of leadership in renewable energy, SolarBK goes beyond solar PV, introducing Solar Water Heater (SWH) solutions – with up to 3x higher efficiency per square meter compared to PV, perfectly suited for resorts with high hot water demand. When integrated from the design phase, PV and SWH combined deliver outstanding benefits across economics, environment, and guest experience.

Alma Resort Cam Ranh has partnered with SolarBK to implement a large-scale rooftop solar power system, contributing to leading Vietnam’s tourism industry toward a green and sustainable direction.

SolarBK’s key strengths include:
  • A fully integrated value chain: R&D, IREX solar module manufacturing, EPC/PPA, O&M services.
  • Proprietary Energy Platform ERIS, ensuring transparent and efficient system monitoring.
  • Proven track record with flagship projects: “Lighting up Truong Sa Islands”, Alma Resort, Saigon Hotel, Majestic Hotel, LEGO, VinFast, Vincom…
For those invested in the future of sustainable tourism in Vietnam, SolarBK’s session promises fresh, practical, and inspiring perspectives – turning clean energy into a long-term competitive advantage for resorts and hotels.
