In an era of economic transformation, Vietnam’s textile and garment industry is facing a critical shift, moving from labor-intensive production toward smarter and more sustainable manufacturing.
In dynamic industrial hubs such as VSIP Quang Ngai, investing in clean energy is no longer just a trend. It has become a “green passport” that enables businesses to strengthen their internal capabilities and maintain their position in the global value chain.
From “Green Barriers” to Internal Transformation
Vietnam’s textile industry, one of the country’s key export pillars, is facing unprecedented requirements from markets such as the United States, the European Union, and Canada.
The implementation of ESG standards (Environmental, Social, and Governance), as well as the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), has become a mandatory challenge for companies seeking deeper integration into international supply chains.
In dynamic industrial hubs such as VSIP Quang Ngai, investing in clean energy is no longer just a trend
At PNS Chun Co., Ltd, a member of Korea’s Sedo Camping Group, this vision has been translated into action through a 1.4 MWp rooftop solar system installed at the VSIP Quang Ngai Industrial Park.
This is not merely an infrastructure project. It is a strategic step toward managing energy costs and “greening” production processes directly at the factory level.
Continuing a Proven Success Story
PNS Chun’s decision to partner with SolarBK was not a one-time choice. It was the continuation of a proven success within the group’s ecosystem. Previously, SolarBK deployed a 1.6 MWp rooftop solar project at Sedo Vinako’s factory in Quang Nam, which has become a model of green economic efficiency within the Sedo Camping system.

According to Mr. Kim Byung Tae, Director of Sedo Vinako Factory: “The system not only helps our factory save approximately 2 billion VND in electricity costs each year and reduce 1,600 tons of CO₂ emissions, but also generates about 2,300 I-REC certificates annually, a ‘golden ticket’ that allows our products to enter European and North American markets. After seeing the system operate effectively, we are willing to recommend this solution to other companies within the group.”
These tangible economic and operational results laid the foundation for Sedo Camping Group to continue choosing SolarBK for its PNS Chun facility. The satisfaction and trust built from one successful project became the benchmark for expanding the clean energy model across the group’s manufacturing operations in Vietnam.
Technical Solutions for a Sustainable Supply Chain
The PNS Chun project utilizes more than 2,400 high-efficiency IREX solar modules, specifically designed to support the continuous energy demand of a weaving factory.
The system is expected to generate approximately 2.09 million kWh of clean electricity annually, reducing about 1,414.95 tons of CO₂ emissions each year. A key advantage of the system lies in its remote intelligent monitoring capabilities, enabling transparent energy data management — an important requirement for sustainability reporting.
This allows PNS Chun not only to reduce energy costs but also to strengthen its competitiveness in international markets.

Affirming the Position of “Make in Vietnam” Energy Solutions
SolarBK’s growing recognition among multinational corporations and major manufacturers, from large-scale industrial projects for VinFast, ESG-driven projects with LEGO, to partnerships with Prime Group and Sedo Camping, demonstrates that Vietnamese technology companies are fully capable of meeting international standards in engineering and operations.
Within this network of partnerships, the PNS Chun project stands as another example of how manufacturing companies in Vietnam are proactively transitioning toward sustainable energy models.
The collaboration between PNS Chun and SolarBK not only delivers economic value to the factory but also contributes to expanding “Make in Vietnam” clean energy solutions across global supply chains, where renewable energy is increasingly becoming the foundation of long-term industrial development.
