On March 7, 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City, the program “One Sun – One Direction” gathered more than 700 entrepreneurs and businesses operating in the solar energy sector across Vietnam.
The event brought together EPC contractors, distributors, industry experts, as well as representatives from government agencies and industry associations, becoming an important networking forum for the clean energy business community as the market enters a new development cycle.
IREX Energy Joint Stock Company, a member of SolarBK Group, not only participated in the event but also shared a message of collaboration within the solar industry, aiming to jointly promote the sustainable development of Vietnam’s renewable energy sector.

New policies open opportunities for the solar energy market
The “One Sun – One Direction” program was organized to connect businesses across the solar ecosystem, including equipment manufacturers, distributors, EPC contractors, and project developers, while providing professional insights into new policy frameworks and market mechanisms.
At the event, participants listened to presentations by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quy, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Clean Energy Association, on Decree 58 and its practical implementation, and Mr. Tran Xuan Vinh Nghia from the Business Department of EVNSPC, who discussed the impact of the two-component electricity pricing mechanism.

According to experts, Decree 58 on self-consumption solar power and the two-component electricity pricing model are creating a new legal framework and growth momentum for the market after the investment boom period.
These policies are expected to encourage businesses to optimize energy operations, expand rooftop solar systems, deploy energy storage systems (BESS), and implement energy management systems (EMS), opening a new stage of development for Vietnam’s clean energy industry.
